Aloo tikki chaat
Old DelhiCrisp spiced potato, tamarind and date chutney, mint, whipped yoghurt and pomegranate. A street-food classic served in three perfect bites.
Paired with a jaljeera and lime spritzA modern Indian tasting menu built on nine heirloom spices, sourced from the farms and markets that have grown them for centuries.
Every menu at Zafraan begins with a spice, not a dish. We travel to Pampore for saffron, to Idukki for cardamom and to the hills of Guntur for chillies, and we cook only what those harvests give us.
The result is an Indian tasting menu that changes with the seasons: familiar flavours from home kitchens, cooked with fine-dining precision and served slowly across one long evening.

After a decade in kitchens in London and Copenhagen, Meher came home with one notebook: her nani's handwritten recipes from Amritsar, Lucknow and Kozhikode. Zafraan is that notebook, cooked with everything she learned along the way.
Her kitchen of twelve grinds every masala by hand each morning, bakes its own breads in a wood-fired tandoor and works directly with forty farming families.
